On Hapalmah Street

2022-ongoing

In the outskirts of  Tel Aviv sits a brutalist apartment building from the 1960s which houses a distinct and varied group of neighbors, neighbors who share a close bond. I’ve studied the crevices of this building my entire life, boredom turned into curiosity.

This project navigates what home, community and loss means in a country in turmoil by chronicling my grandmother’s and her neighbors’ shared lives under one collective roof.
